Dr. James R. Trammell
Pastor

Pastor James has deep roots in the heartland of America.  His father, born in Arkansas, grew up and pastored in Oklahoma before moving to California to pastor.  A native of California, Pastor James has served over thirty years in the ministry.  He began by serving through his college years at California Baptist University and then Golden Gate and Andersonville Seminaries.  He holds a masters degree in pastoral counseling and a doctorate in theology.

He says the most important thing to know about him is that he is a child of God and that if Christ can redeem him, He can forgive and redeem anyone.  In addition he says, "I love to witness the transforming power of Christ as He touches lives that are discouraged or broken!  When He heals the wounded, it is a remarkable event.  I am grateful for being allowed to participate."  Preaching is his passion and reading is his hobby.  Ask him what he has read lately and it will probably be a biography of some great saint or John Grisham's latest novel.

Pastor James and his sweet wife, Carol, have seven grown children and eight grandchildren.
